2 weeks agoExcellent medical care, but administrative processes need improvement I recently had surgery at BIMC Hospital in Kuta and was overall very satisfied with the medical treatment. The admission process was fast, and within a short time, my condition was diagnosed, and a treatment plan was in place. The doctors, surgeons, and nursing staff did an outstanding job—professional, skilled, and genuinely caring. From a medical standpoint, I can highly recommend this hospital. However, the administrative process was frustrating, especially when dealing with insurance. There were several unnecessary delays due to inefficient handling and miscommunication. Even though my insurance had already confirmed coverage, there were repeated back-and-forth discussions, which could have been avoided. On the day of my admission, I had to wait for hours while the hospital tried to sort out payment approval. The biggest issue, however, was on the day of my discharge. Despite having an approved guarantee of payment, the hospital only started processing the paperwork for follow-up care at the last minute. This resulted in even more delays, which could have been prevented with better organization. My suggestion: The hospital should improve communication and streamline administrative procedures, especially for insured patients. Patients should not have to spend hours waiting for paperwork when these matters should be handled directly between the hospital and the insurance provider. Bottom line: Fantastic medical care, but inefficient administration. If you’re paying out of pocket, you probably won’t have any issues. But if you’re insured, be prepared for possible delays.

5 months agoI collapsed due to heat stroke but was treated promptly at this hospital and fully recovered. The hospital was well equipped and very clean. I received an IV and medication for dehydration and paid about A$200, which was all refunded by travel insurance. I appreciate doctors and nurses here. Thank you so much💕

a month agoI had to visit BIMC after an injury, and I was impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. The staff was friendly, and the treatment was fast and thorough. They cleaned and stitched my wound, gave me a tetanus shot, and provided antibiotics, all without unnecessary delays. The hospital was clean and well-organized, and I felt completely in good hands throughout the process.
