a month agoGoa Rang Reng Waterfall is a unique and peaceful spot near Ubud, known for its cascading water flowing over rocky steps. The entrance fee is 20K IDR per person and there’s an option for a short hike to explore the sacred cave nearby. The rocks can be slippery, so be careful when climbing. It’s not as crowded as other waterfalls, making it a great place to enjoy nature in a tranquil setting! Follow @roxana.iamandi.❤️

a week agoThere are way too many stairs to get to the waterfall, and unfortunately, the view at the end was quite disappointing. It’s really not worth the effort of going all the way down and then climbing back up. If you’re into hiking, maybe it’s okay — but if you’re just expecting a stunning waterfall, you might end up disappointed.

5 months agoWe didn’t plan to come to this waterfall after our late lunch, but it was one of the greatest experiences that I ever had in Bali. Especially, when I met Pak Made, our guide. He’s very attentive, with prominent knowledge not only about the waterfall, but also the history behind it. They provide walking sticks, special shoes that you can wear, and your guide will keep all of your stuff in a waterproof bag during the adventure. Don’t forget to give your guide a good tip after you’re done, they deserve it, just like you deserve a great, unforgettable adventure there

4 months agoIt was one of the most fun days of my life. Beautiful place. Friendly local guide. A hidden gem. It's not as crowded as other waterfall. The area is huge, and I recommend taking their local guide, especially if you want to have an adventure and be safe. You don't need a guide to get to the cascading waterfall or their main waterfall and the cave to take photos, but if you want to be in the waterfall, DO NOT ATTEMPT IT YOURSELF. It could be quite dangerous. We had Bli Nyoman, one of the local guides, as our guide, and he was amazing. He went above and beyond, making our journey to the waterfall safe and super fun. Very good at taking pictures as well. We went through the river canyon and swim through waterfalls, jumped from a cliff to the water, and played on a swing above the river. We also slid through the main waterfall (again, do not attempt this yourself/without a guide) and took pictures in it. The experience being in the waterfall itself was very thrilling and super fun! Though the river trail may look easy, but don't let it fool you, you can't see through the water, thus you don't know what you'll step on, it could be very deep or rocky. Hence, I would recommend taking the local guide with you if you choose to explore the river canyon. Also, wear proper footwear. They can provide, but won't be too comfortable. And NOT recommend to come on rainy season.

8 months agoThe main waterfall is cool, but doing the private tour is awesome and most definitely worth it. We paid 200k rp for this and the host was funny, friendly and an amazing photographer. You basically get taken on a walk to the secret spots (3 waterfalls, a cliff jump spot and a swing) by walking through the creek, we got footwear and a stick for balance and the guide took a dry bag and carried our dry stuff for us. Amazing service. If you go to this waterfall don’t miss out on the tour.
