5 months agoRock Bar Bali is simply mesmerizing! Perched on the cliffs of Jimbaran, this iconic bar offers one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen, especially at sunset. The ambiance is unmatched—imagine the ocean waves crashing below, stunning panoramic views, and world-class architecture that makes you feel like you’re floating above the water. The music is fantastic, with top-notch DJs setting the vibe, blending perfectly with the natural sounds of the sea. The cocktails are as extraordinary as the views, carefully crafted and served with flair. I highly recommend their signature cocktails; each drink feels like an experience. The staff is attentive, welcoming, and adds to the luxury feel of the place, ensuring you feel like a VIP. Although it’s a bit on the pricier side, every penny is worth it for the unique atmosphere and the unforgettable sunset views. If you’re in Bali, Rock Bar is a must-visit—perfect for a romantic evening or just unwinding with friends in one of the most spectacular settings in the world.

a month agoMy second time here, First time was fine. However this time was very poor at best. Slow & poor service. 11 customers and 7 staff but still waiting 10 minutes plus for basic drinks (beer and coconut) and at 120k ++ a beer I would not recommend at all.

4 months agoRock Bar Bali offers a breathtaking experience, especially for those who appreciate a stunning sunset. Built into the cliffs at the Ayana Resort, it boasts a unique location that provides unmatched views of the Indian Ocean, making it the perfect spot for golden hour. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, blending natural beauty with a sophisticated vibe. As the sun sets, the entire bar is bathed in warm, golden hues, creating a magical ambiance. The food and service are satisfactory, with a selection of dishes that complements the bar’s laid-back yet upscale style. While the flavors and presentation are good, they don’t particularly stand out as exceptional. However, the biggest downside is the long wait for the cable car, which is the main way to reach the bar. At peak hours, this wait can test your patience, and the queue can detract from the overall experience. That said, the setting and ambiance generally make up for it. For anyone visiting Bali, Rock Bar is worth a visit for the incredible sunset views and atmosphere alone, but prepare for a bit of a wait during busy times.

2 months agoRock Bar Bali has an incredible atmosphere, with stunning views that live up to its Instagram-worthy reputation. The setting is undeniably breathtaking, but the overall experience didn’t quite match the hype. We opted for the 3-course set menu. The starters—Greek salad and Greek dip—were enjoyable and well-prepared. However, the main course was hit and miss. My chicken with truffle oil was disappointingly dry, and I ended up leaving most of it. On the other hand, my wife’s fish (sea bass) was well-cooked and flavorful, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service was exceptional, and the staff were attentive and professional throughout. However, the prices are excessive. For example, a small Coke costs A$16, which feels hard to justify. You’ll get the picture from there—this venue is definitely on the pricier side. While kids are allowed, there is very little choice for them on the menu. Our kids tried the burger sliders but only ended up eating one as it was dry and unappetizing for them. While the atmosphere is great, it can feel overcrowded, and the 30-minute wait just to get down the lift takes away from the experience. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with decent food and amazing views, but it feels overpriced and overhyped for what it delivers.

5 months agoGreat atmosphere and a fantastic vibe at this place! We arrived around 5 PM to catch the sunset, and while it was quite hot, they provided umbrellas to help block out the sun and stay cool. We started with tapas, which were delicious, and later decided to stay for dinner. Unfortunately, the dining experience wasn’t as smooth. Firstly, they had trouble getting our tables right. Secondly, we ordered still and sparkling water, but it didn’t arrive until the food came, which was disappointing due to how hot it was. Lastly, our mains and entrees came out at the same time, leaving the table crowded with food. Despite these issues, it’s worth trying for the atmosphere alone.
